Happy with our product and training

I just wanted to write this to say how pleased I am with our new medical charting system through Computerized Business Systems’ Web site, MedicalCharting.com. I am a nurse practitioner in a busy, young family medicine practice. I work with two young doctors and trying to find the right medical charting system was quite a challenge for us. Our office manager researched several options and proposed using Medisoft Clinical. Based on her recommendation, we decided to go for it. She made all the arrangements with Computerized Business Systems and a representative came to our practice and explained everything we needed to know and more. It was a great experience. And using the Medisoft Clinical to update patient charts, schedule appointments, see if a patient has arrived and is ready for an examination and to maintain records in accordance with insurance requirements is much easier than I imagined it would be. I especially appreciate that information cannot be entered more than once. Preventing duplicate entries saves us time and money. Also, our office manager loves the pre-populated electronic superbill with ICD-9 and CPT-4 codes.

Our office receives ongoing training and guidance when we need it about how to optimize our use of the system. MedicalCharting.com took a great deal of stress off all our minds. We can now use the system with great ease, make updates and appointments, as well as change appointments and be sure to meet all important deadlines thanks to Medisoft Clinical and the more than adequate training we received through Computerized Business Systems. It has made a huge difference in our efforts to improve customer service. Prior to purchasing this software, we received complaints from patients about how much time it took to see the doctor, in spite of having set up an appointment months in advance. These are legitimate concerns, as people’s lives are filled with many responsibilities and it is important that we never lose sight of that. By implementing Medisoft Clinical, we have been able to cut our wait times, provide more efficient service for our patients and get important test results and data included in a patient’s chart in no time. There is no longer a backlog of patient records waiting to be updated and filed. It can now all be done instantaneously and easily. I highly recommend the services available through MedicalCharting.com. If you are looking for ways to handle your day-to-day office operations electronically, you need to investigate the options available through Computerized Business Systems.

Why Medical Professionals Use Electronic Medical Software

We have all been to the doctor’s office and seen our medical charts, in fact people have charts at several physician’s offices. If you have ever been hospitalized, you also have a medical chart there as well. To keep track of your personal information, more hospitals and doctor’s offices have gotten on board with using electronic software for medical charting. Do you know what kind of information is contained in a personal health record? Such information will include your name, address, date of birth, blood type, emergency contact, and date of last medical physical, any recent test results, allergies, medication records, chronic diseases if any and family medical history. Can you imagine trying to keep all of this information straight without the benefit of medisoft clinical software?

Each person has the right to expect their personal medical information to remain confidential and in the past, when paper records were the norm, this was harder to guarantee. Now that doctors and hospitals realize the importance of keeping accurate and timely records, emr software has become the common solution for accuracy and privacy assurance. This ensures a patient’s information is contained, up-to-date and accurate.

With the assistance of emr software, medical practices and hospitals all over the country are finding fewer mistakes are made and treatment is consistent. When a doctor needs to know a piece of information critical to patient care, lost time can result in negative consequences for the patient. Having saved precious minutes can mean the difference between life and death for a patient who is in a serious medical emergency situation.

Electronic medical charting software has shown itself to be a dependable and accurate method, improving a doctor’s ability to treat and the patient’s quality of care is indirectly improved. In the medical field where precious time and accuracy are the most important things, doctors, nurses, hospitals and other medical organizations cannot tout the benefits of EMR software enough. It saves time and saves lives when other methods of record keeping may not be effective. Having the convenience of an electronic medical record also allows medical office personnel to perform their jobs better and with more accuracy. The benefits of electronic medical software cannot be disputed or denied. Many hospitals and medical clinics all over the country are making the switch once it becomes clear how much better things will work in the care setting.
